We live and work in Berlin. We studied at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg. In our free artistic work we assemble objects, drawings and photographs into installative arrangements. We examine materials, compare forms and deal with the dialectical opposition of natural phenomena and cultural objects.

We have shown our work in numerous solo and group exhibitions at national and international venues, including: Gustav-Lübcke-Museum, Hamm; Schloss Bonndorf; Kunsthaus Essen; Städtische Galerie Ostfildern; Museum Marta Herford; Museum Gerhard-Marcks Haus, Bremen; Museum Morsbroich, Leverkusen; S.M.A.K. Museum for Contemporary Art, Gent, Belgium; Daejeon Museum of Art, South Korea; Kunstverein, Göttingen. Fellowships have taken us to Burkina Faso, Colombia, India, South Korea, Japan, USA, Argentina.

We are also active in teaching and cultural education. We have had various teaching assignments at the Burg Giebichenstein Academy of Art and at the UDK. For several years we have been developing and realizing critical, artistic/practical educational programs for children, young people and adults, as well as exhibition talks and dialogical guided tours for various museums in Berlin.

Through our engagement with forms, space and material, we also work in parallel with design, designing and building furniture, creating print media and websites, and developing educational materials.
